All participants will be matched randomly to another participant based on gender, age, and interests. You will stay at one of two Macalester College Residence Halls - George Draper Dayton Hall or Wallace Hall.

 

Policies
As a guest resident at Macalester College, you will need to abide by Macalester College rules. Some have been listed in the Behavioral Contract but others are listed in the Macalester College Student Handbook.

Toiletries

  • Towels will be provided for each attendee; however, individuals are welcome to bring their own towels if desired.
  • Shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and other personal hygiene products
  • Hair dryer
  • Shower sandals

Clothing

  • Casual Clothing (including something that represents your high school or college - even if you are an alumni or a future student)
  • One business professional or semi-formal apparel for the Sayonara banquet
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • One set of gym/work out clothes that you can get dirty in

Leisure

  • Camera
  • Sunglasses
  • Playing cards and other portable games

Miscellaneous

  • Prescribed medications
  • Alarm clock
  • Watch
  • Umbrella (just in case!)

Weather in St. Paul, Minnesota
Because of its northerly latitude and inland location, the Twin Cities often sees the coldest metropolitan area. But because of it's southern location in the state, the Twin Cities is often the warmest location in Minnesota.

In June, the Twin Cities expects the most precipitation with temperatures ranging from an average low of 63 degrees and an average high of 83 degrees. It can be humid and windy at times. Because of the Twin Cities normally expects a wide range of weather, please be sure to check the weather in Twin Cities for the weekend of the Conference.
