The JACL national convention is the oldest and largest annual gathering of the Japanese American community in the United States. Founded in 1929, the JACL is an organization concerned with issues of education, public policy and leadership development. With 112 chapters in 26 states, the JACL is a prominent voice for Asian Americans on issues that affect the well-being of the community. The JACL national convention is an opportunity for corporations, government agencies, small businesses and nonprofit organizations to showcase their products and services. Be there to meet and build relationships with JACL members and prominent supporters from throughout the United States. SPONSORSHIP LEVELSClick here for information on sponsorship levels. There are six levels of JACL sponsorship offering an array of benefits including advertisements in the convention booklet, listings on the JACL website and the Pacific Citizen newspaper, reserved seating at premier convention events, logo display at convention events and exhibit booth space throughout the convention. EXHIBITSClick here for information on convention exhibits. The exhibit booths will be located in a heavy-traffic area near the convention registration tables and meeting rooms. Each exhibit space will have back and side drapes with two chairs and one skirted 6 foot table. Corporate/Government Exhibitor Fee -- $1,000 ADVERTISEMENTSClick here for information on convention booklet ads. The convention booklet will be distributed to all conventioneers. It will contain feature articles on the Japanese American community, greetings from prominent public officials, convention schedule, lists of convention sponsors and exhibitors, workshop descriptions, convention speakers and awardees, concierge information on Chicago restaurants, stores and attractions.
